Salt Vargas Aviator Sunglasses

When one thinks of aviator sunglasses often the vision of the classic tear drop shaped lens in a wire frame comes to mind. Recently several designers have re-sculpted the aviator in to friendly shapes that work for everybody.Rounds, rectangular and circle options exist in addition to the classic tear drop and materials are just as numerous. There are classic wire frames, titanium options, even some funky plastic varieties exist.

The aviator has been around for decades for one simple reason, it’s a great style. It looks good on men and women and offers amaing sun protection. With colorful options and different sizes even kids can wear this classic.

Aviators were originally introduced by Ray Ban for pilots during wartime. over the years the style has evolved and made it’s way in to main stream fashion. Many aviator options are now polarized which ir ironic, because true piltos can’t wear polarized lenses while flying.

Rayban still has their classic, prada has come out with some cool versions but most notable in my mind is the collection of aviators designed and presented by Salt Eyewear. With over 40 aviatoresque options at last count this is a line to be considered. All lenses are polarized so if you actually want these to pilot an aircraft you’ll have to find a different option.
